- The Mercantile is a specialty grocery store in Candler Park in Atlanta, GA. We opened on September 20, 2008 and so far, we're loving every minute of it! We are located at 1660 Dekalb Avenue in the new Clifton Place development. We're on the corner of Clifton Road and Dekalb Avenue, 1 block south of the original Flying Biscuit. Our focus is on prepared foods made fresh to go everyday. Stopping in to see us, you'll also find artisanal cheeses, handmade sandwiches, local produce, tempting chocolates, locally roasted coffee, tea and specialty foods from around the world.
